I'm actually planning for my wedding there (happening in May); on a separate browser tab, I've got the list of villas and other travel details displayed. That's just so cool… lol

Trying to avoid the touristy areas naturally, that's why serene Ubud seems so apt!
Any recommendations?We're ditching the usual banquet,etc though, and decided that having our families with us is what's important. So we're using the marriage fund to fly all 8 of us for a holiday of sorts.
Planning to sign the papers in Sg then fly off the morning after. Were told that doing everything, i.e. the official paperwork for marriage can be a nightmare in Indonesia and advised to do so in Singapore instead. Though now I need to re-convince my MIL after the recent safety travel advisory, ugh.Oh and I might just be over to get that postcard soon actually; we're doing this in May! Thanks

Hey Chin, sorry for this late reply. Was swamped with four things at one time – doesn't sound like a lot in Spore but it is more than two handfuls here in Bali.
Anyhow, I check my email daily, so send me your budget, expectations, length of stay etc. to (my name) @ gmail. Will reply you over the weekend.
